From the Benedictines at Norcia :)

I just received a gift of a beautiful Rosary with a St Benedict's Cross and Medal blessed by the very cool Benedictine monks at Norcia. Thank you!! :)

I'd love to visit this place one day.

Renewal in the Church often comes about by returning to the sources of faith and spirituality. The Vatican II document on religious life, Perfectae Caritatis, urged religious to return to the sources to find new life and vitality.

It is to the traditional beauty of Catholicism that young are drawn.
Since July 7th, 2009, the monks of Norcia have been responding to a new apostolate, given to us by the Holy See. In order to further a climate of liturgical peace and what the Pope calls an “interior reconciliation in the heart of the Church” we have been asked to make both the ordinary and extraordinary forms of the Roman rite available. This practice of offering both forms (in utroque usu) allows us the possibility to drink deeply from the riches of the tradition and, at the same time, to open our doors wide to the Church as she is today.
