Totus tuus ego sum, et omnia mea tua sunt. Accipio te in mea omnia! I am all yours, my Queen and my Mother, and all that I have is yours. Be my guide in all things!
Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

Year of the Priest
Daily Prayer During the Year for Priests
O Jesus, Eternal Priest, keep all Your priests within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart, where none may harm them. Keep unstained their anointed hands which daily touch Your Sacred Body.
Keep unsullied their lips purpled with Your Precious Blood. Keep pure and unearthly their hearts sealed with the sublime marks of Your glorious priesthood. Let Your holy love surround them and shield them from the world's contagion.
Bless their labors with abundant fruit, and may the souls to whom they have ministered to be their joy and consolation and in Heaven their beautiful and everlasting crown.
O Mary, Queen of the clergy, pray for us; obtain for us many holy priests.
Lord Jesus Christ, reigning from Your Eucharistic throne, establish the throne of Your vicar, our Holy Father, Pope Benedict, in faithfulness, justice, truth, and peace. Uphold him, defend him, enlighten him, console him, enliven him with all graces to lead Your Church boldly in Your footsteps and to gather together into one flock those who look to You for salvation. Amen
"Young people in particular, I appeal to you: bear witness to your faith through the digital world!"
-Benedict XVI
Pope Benedict's general prayer intention for October is: That all the men and women in the world, especially those who have responsibilities in the field of politics and economics, may never fail in their commitment to safeguard creation.
His mission intention is: That believers in the different religions, through the testimony of their lives and fraternal dialogue, may clearly demonstrate that the name of God is a bearer of peace.

A short wish, dearest Jesus
Oh, my God, I do not ask for the big things - the life of the missionary or the monk, or those others I see around me so full of accomplishment, I do not ask for any of these; but simply set my face to follow out unswervingly, untiringly, the common life which day to day stretches out before me, satisfied if in it I love You, and try to make you loved. Nature rebels against this life with its never-ending round of trivial tasks and full of the temptation to take relief in amusement or change. It seems so hard to be great in small things, to be heroic in the doing of the commonplace; but still this life is Your will for me. There must be a great destiny in it. And so, I am content. And then to crown the rest, dear Jesus, I beg you to give me this, fidelity to the end, to be at my post when the final call comes, and to take my last, weary breath in Your embrace. A valiant life and faithful to the end. A short wish, dearest Jesus, but it covers all.
