The birthday of the City

According to Fr Z, yesterday was the birthday of the City of Rome which was founded in 735 BC.
The date of Rome's birth was calculated by an Augustinian friar named Onofrio Panvinio.

It just seems more relavent since we've been learning about the founding, and early history of Rome in relations to Machiavelli's Discourses.
