There's no Bible involved; does there have to be one?

Helpful commenters point out that there need not be one as it's not required by the Constitution. But one also pointed out how the Lincoln Bible on Tuesday was just a big show. When done privately Obama doesn't even see the need to use any Bible .

Of course, since we're so understanding and slow to judge, one commenter excuses Obama:

"It probably burned too much last time he touched it."
