A Memorable Birthday

Had a wonderful birthday :)

Attended Legion meeting on the 7th evening - Fr Frans was back, and my sister was a visitor.
After the meeting my dear Legionary brothers and sisters had a yummy little cake for me, and it even had my name on it...haha! And they gave me a beautiful card that I really treasure.

Had quite a steady flow of lovely wishes from then on. My sis came at 12 with a cute little card and a piece of cake. My parents and aunt called from Sri Lanka in the morning. In the evening, after Mass, had a surprising call from some of my PS classmates who were meeting up for dinner at Vivo City. And they took turns wishing me. Some of them were from my Rhetoric class so I had weird greetings like: "Hi Dominic, this is St Augustine speaking....Hi Dominic, this is Derrida speaking..."

Went for dinner with Krizia and my sister at Heritage, an Indian Restaurant in Bukit Timah. The food was delicious, but way too much for us to finish. I could barely move after that! :D

This evening Kriz took us, along with Carina and Imma to Lucky Plaza to sample Filipino food. Interesting! It was a very comfy, relaxing evening :)

So many many thanks to you dear friends for your wishes, and for being such a blessing in my life :) Mass yesterday was offered for all of you.

Finally, would you pray for Nick Chui's grandpa who passed away yesterday, and for Nick and his mom and the rest of his family. Went this morning to pay my respects, and pray, along with Justin. It's the first wake I've attended, and the beautiful "Abide With Me" was playing when we arrived. Nick says his grandpa received the last rites the day before, so we thank God for His goodness.
